GirlGameReview #2 : Mad Father

Hello dreamers,
call me weird , call me abnormal , I don't give a fuck ! Yes , I do game reviews ! Because i'm that cool ! (I hope you get my sarcasm that I use often) So yeah, let's go !!!!

Question 1 : What game did you play ?

I played 'Mad Father'. It's a 2D pixel RPG ( Role Playing Game) freeware horror adventure.

Question 2 : How did you find it ?

I actually have seen that PewDiePie has played the game , but I wanted to play it myself before I'd watch his.

Question 3 : How scary was it on a scale of 1/10 (1/10 - very scary 10/10 - not that scary )

7/10 , it was a lot scarier than 'The Crooked Man' because I didn't know what to expect . I played the game and there was always something to be scared of. But you can still sleep like a rose after playing it :) . Don't worry , it really isn't that scary ;) (in my opinion).

Question 4 : What's the storyline ?

The story is about a 11 years old girl named Aya. She used to live together with her mother , father and her father's assistant. Her mother died and her father told her that was because she was sick. On the end you see that that was just a big lie. One day her mother spreeds a curse over the house and Aya wants to help her father. She loses her pet animal Snowball and she has a lot of flashbacks during the game. All the endings are different, so look forward to that ! Nope , I'll not spoil it ;) .

Question 5 : Is it appropriate for girls ?

Yeah ! The whole story is beautiful and it touches your heart. There are also a lot of beautiful flashbacks. Highly recommended !!!!

Question 6 : Total Rating of the game : 

I have to give it a 8/10 , it was better than 'The Crooked Man'. I really loved this so so so much !!!!

Question 7 : Any comments ?

I don't have any comments.... :)

Question 8 : Any recommendations if you enjoyed playing Mad Father ?

I'd recommend Ib and Misao :) I haven't played them both but I've seen PewDiePie playing Ib and I tried playing Misao but I'm stuck....

Don't Throw Things At Me !

But yeah , I couldn't find a better title for this.

I'VE NEVER BEEN AT STARSBUCKS :

This is probably not the worst thing. I think that there are a lot of people who haven't been to Starbucks yet, right....?

I'VE NEVER EATEN AN OREO :

Lately , I've been texting with a friend of mine who was been crazy about the fact that I've never eaten an oreo... Is that so strange ?.....

I DON'T EAT NUTELLA :

If you haven't throw anything at me yet .... I thik you might throw by this one. It is true ! I don't eat Nutella... I have a good reason for that.... I guess so...

I DON'T EAT :

- whipped cream
- caramel
- pudding
- and other thingys
( I used google translate for these so I'm not really sure...)

I HAVEN'T SEEN THE LORD OF THE RINGS :

For some reason I have a lot of common on this one. Sorry , okay ! (even though I have the triology on DVD....)

There has to be much much much more I think , but that's all I can think of by now.

French Music / French Movie

Hey sweeties,

I've been away for 2 weeks on my French Camp , but now I'm completely back !!!
I don't really know if anyone would care if I wrote a blogpost about my camp so I don't know yet.
But during those 2 weeks I only did things in French and I only thought in French....
And I still do a little bit.....
Anyways...

During the camp we watched 1 movie and listened a lot to French music. I wanted to show you guys a few of it , so here we go !!!

The Movie:

'Viva La France'

This is possibly the most hilarious movie I ever watched , completely French ofcourse. The story is about 2 "brothers" who are terrorists. They have a mission to blow them up at the Eiffel Tower , but that goes a bit wrong in the most hilarious way !!!! You really have to watch this movie , eventhough the whole movie is in French. This movie deserves a 10/10 !!!

Music : 

I have listened to a lot French music and I don't know the half of the titles !!

But we woke up , we douched , we rested on the music of the cd "La fête de la chanson française".

But these are one of my all-time favorites:

 but you can always change a little bit, like we did ;).

Season Special's : Summer

Hello fellow dreamers,
Today I wanted to write something about something I really want to do. This blogpost is 100% inspired on a video by 'Wonderlandwardrobe' aka Kalel Cullen. The video is called 'My Fall Fragrances' and you can watch it here down below :).

And it made me think that there are actually also things that I'd like to change every season. I mean , you change your clothes also every season. So I think I might do this ;). Here are some of the things I like in different seasons :) and because it is summer, I'm going to talk about Summer today :

In summer I love ANYTHING that reminds me of an exotic place. That's just me. In the Summer my head is  living on an exotic , hot island. So my favorite smells are probably anything with coconut , lime or blue ocean. I actually gave my mom once a giftbox with all different kind of things , and right now I'm so jealous. So yeah , I think I might got go buy it myself. I haven't try them yet , but I'd feel horrible if I use the ones I gave to my mom , she hasn't used them though but the reviews are amazing. I hope they're still there in that shop... (I don't know the prize anymore , sorry :( )

I also looked up some lip balms and some perfumes from Yves Rocher. I'd love to go shopping there once and I'll probably do a haul if I go there :) These are my Summer choices ! :

So yeah , I'll probably start with this in Fall. I'm really excited for this. Yves Rocher got so many good reviews that it must be amazing and I can't wait ! I used to be not that kind of person who cared about her body but since I know Kalel I'm obsessed with it !

My Idol / Inspiration / Role Model

Hello my fellow dreamers, I'll call you dreamers :) ,
I kind of like it ? Do you like it ? I do ! Tell me in the comments !
Today I want to talk about the person who changed my life a lot and who I love the most of all.

My First Idol :

Everyone had a singer or an actress that was anyone's idol , mine was Selena Gomez. I didn't had Disney Channel so I didn't know her from WOWP but I knew her from her song 'Naturally' which I was addicted to and on my birthday my mom and I went shopping and then I bought my first CD of her which was 'A year without rain' but a few weeks later I found out that that was her second album, so my parents bought me her first and then a few months later her 3rd was released, so they bought that one too. But then she did announce she was going to stop making music and I was really sad. I still watched her on tv when I did finally get Disney Channel (YAAY!) and then I forgot about her. But now her new album is going to be released and I'll buy it. She also comes to Belgium and I'll go to her , just to make my childhood dream come true. :)

My Idol / Inspiration / Role Model :

Enough about Selena , between Selena and my idol now, there was like more than a year.
Any guesses ? No , okay then XD.

My idol is definentely Kalel Cullen.

It all started with me getting a iPod. I first played those addicting apps but later I used the apps that were already on it. I once went on YouTube for watching videos and my brother also wanted to do that so, I let him do that and he was looking for walkthroughs or something for Pokémon When all in a sudden he randomly ran into my room and demanded me to watch a video. I didn't want to but somehow he convinced me to watch it , and at first I didn't show him at all that I was quite impressed and later, I looked up more and more videos by that channel. That channel's name was 'Smosh' and the video was called 'The Pokémon Master'.

I wanted to know more and more about it and I found out that they both had a girlfriend. As my favorite was Anthony (I'm sorry but it's true :s) , I wanted to know more about his girlfriend. She had a channel named 'Wonderlandwardrobe' and I started watching it and I became a big fan of her ! As I also found out there was a lot hate on her, I looked up why . They called her a liar and I found out that it was because she changed her name and she had first other channels (and also some other things but I might explain them in another blogpost ). I watched a reupload of her last video on one of her channels and she said that she wasn't herself and she wanted to be who she really was , and she's so sorry for lying , but her past is her past !. I RESPECT her so much. She taught me to be myself , to like the things I want and she's an amazing person . She is perfection in my eyes. Right now, she has a channel together with Anthony called 'watchusliveandstuff' . It's my favorite channel of all !  I hate the haters on her , and I love her so much and she helped me through everything. She dedicade her whole life to her dream and THAT's what I love so much in her. .She's beautiful , amazing , funny,etc. I'll love her no matter what.

GirlMovieReview : Monsters University

Hello sweethearts :)
Today I'm gonna talk about the movie that everyone said they would watch it no matter what age they were.
Some say the movie is actually made for those , because a lot of the people who've watched the other monsters movies , are now also in university. Well, me and my friend went to see it as she actually won tickets for it :D. 

The movie isn't actually made for us teens/young adults , it's actually still made for children , which isn't that big of a suprise. There were a lot funny things in it but also a lot of children-jokes , I actually really enjoyed watching it and it made me feel like a child again. If you're wondering if you should watch it, I can't really answer that. It's a funny children movie made by Disney. I'd go watch it with a friend. I'm a huge fan of Disney movies and I must say that they did a great job with the movie.

CAUTION ! :

THE MOVIE IS IN 3D.

On a scale of 1-10/10 , I'd give it a 9/10.
It's a really good children movie and Disney did again a great job.

What is your favorite disney movie of all time ?

I have to go with The Jungle Book , it was my favorite movie as a kid and I really loved the songs :).

Challenge Yourself !!!

Hello sweethearts :) ,
I've been thinking for a quite time that there are so many things that I wish I could do but I can't.
So this is what this blog is all about : trying new things.
I dare you to challenge yourself to complete something you really want to do.
I'm sure there has to be something you really want !

Do you want to be good in nail-art ?

Do you want to learn how to play your favorite songs on the piano ?

Do you want to hit that high note , but you can't yet ?

So mine is going to be drawing , I really suck at drawing and I really want to be able to draw masterpieces!

CAUTION!
 YOU CANNOT BE AN EXPERT IN IT IN JUST ONE YEAR SO YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANT TO FOCUS ON.

So for drawing I want to focus on 3 things :

- anime characters
- graffiti letters
- perspective & 3D

Those are 3 things I really want but I'm so bad at it ! No , I'm not going to take lessons for it , I'll figure my own way out to do it ! :D but I want to challenge YOU.
There has to be something you want so go for it !!!
I'll try to do this every year or maybe sooner ;).
There are just so many things I want and it's not going to happen if I sit here on my laptop.
Don't worry , I'll not stop with my blog ! Trust me , I'll try my best to post 6/7 days of the week !

So , I hope I motived you a little bit to go for something , I'm going to practice my drawing !

My Life My Fails : 'FoodFails'

Hello sweeties !!! Today I want to show you something in my Fail of living on this big planet. I swear , I'm one of the biggest fails ever , and I'm going to show you guys . You can just laugh with it or be sorry for my familiy and friends and look at yourself and realize you're not a giant fail as I am :D

So the idea came from BBC RADIO 1'S DJ's Dan Howell and Phil Lester , every Sunday from 7-9 pm (BST) there's their request radio show and as always I listened to it. In every show there's a hashtag they invent and you have to tweet something with that hashtag and then they'll read some out loud. So this one is based on the hashtag 'foodfails' as you can see in the list down below.

                                     

So right now I can only think of 2 foodfails I had :D yay!
So the first one is really , really dumb. Me and my friend were baking a cake and we did our dough in the tin and we did in the oven. And when it was ready it looked so delicious but then.... The cake was stuck and we couldn't get it out of the tin so yeah , good going Ciska , but could it go worse ? Oh yeah , it could !

Me and my friend wanted to make cookies. So we did and we followed exactly the recipe and then.... We looked in the oven while it was baking and we both facepalmed...... It happend I again. 

This actually happend , we actually made those cookies down below , that's a pic from my phone.... And we actually first cut it with a knife , you know......

GirlGameReview #1 : The Crooked Man

Hello , how are you sweeties ? I sometimes like to play games and if you actually love to play games but you hate to admire it , don't worry ! I'll post my reviews of games so you can see if you'd like to play it or rather not. I'll call these series GirlGameReviews :) so to all of you , here's my review ,made on my own special way :

Question 1 : What game did you play ?

I played 'The Crooked Man'. It's a 2D pixel RPG (Role Playing Game) freeware horror adventure.

Question 2 : How did you find it ?

I actually found PewDiePie on youtube playing it , it was my first full series of him that I've seen and I really loved it.

Question 3 : How scary was it on a scale of 1/10 ? (1/10=very scary , 10/10= not that scary)

9/10 , it's not that scary trust me , there's like 3 jumpscares in total and those are just red handprints when you leave the room. But with the crooked man who can be everywhere , yeah , that makes it a little bit scarier... But still, it's not that scary , it's not Amnesia or Slender ;).

Question 4 : What's the storyline ?

Well, the story is about a guy named David Hoover who just moved in a little apartment to forget about his problems. His mom's in the hospital and his girlfriend went away and all his dreams are crushed. In his apartment there are weird things going on and when he finds an adress, he decides to got here , which leads him first to an abandoned hotel, school and then a hospital. He meets in his imagination 3 new friends who all need his help while there's the crooked man chasing him.

Question 5 : Is it appropriate for girls ?

Yes , it sure is. All right , there are a few scary moments but girls are also brave ! Also the story learns you actually something about life and there's also an emotional side in it ( good and bad emotions) . The characters cry , are scared , hopeless etc. I really recommend it !

Question 6 : Total rating of the game :

I really , really enjoyed playing this game so in total with the story, audio , graphics , etc. I give it a 7/10 !

Question 7 : Any comments ?

Personally , I wished there was more music , I actually put on my own music while playing the game :s.

Question 8 : Any recommendations if you enjoyed playing the crooked man ?

Well , right now I'm playing Mad Father which looks also like the crooked man but is scarier in my opinion , I also really want to play Ib , To The Moon , Paranoiac ( closest with the crooked man) and Misao ;).

The Perfect Sleepover

 Hello !
How is it going sweethearts ? 
Today I was thinking really hard about what I could write about and since there's a friend of mine who's coming over for a "sleepover" , I thought that this was a great topic! So here are my tips for the perfect sleepover:

Cook and Prepare:

Cooking with your friends is always fun ! You're making something together that afterwards both of you can enjoy! You can make cookies or cake, milkshake or smoothie or them all ! Or just a simple fruit salad or decorating cupcakes ! It's always lots of fun !

The Old And Original "Pillowfight":

We all know it , and with a good friend and some of your favorite music, aaaah, it is the best ! "But afterwards you got to clean it all up." No , only in movies there are feathers ! I don't know if you have , but I don't ;).

Prank Off! :

We all love to laugh until we can't breath, so why don't hold a prank off ? If you're with a few people you can right down some pranks and put them in a hat and everyone can pick one. You can do it for fun or make it more serious with a little prize! If you're only with 2 people you can prankcall some friends you have in common. You'll die of laughter !!!

Play 'Mash' :

Mash is a game to predict the future and it's more fun than it sounds !!! We were trapped in a traffic jam with a few friends of mine so we decided to play this and we had so much fun ! It's one of my favorite things to do actually ;)

Karaoke/dance-night:

Everybody loves karaoke , even if you can't sing though! Hold a battle , sing a duet and try to get a high score ! Want to make it more exciting ? Discuss a punishment for the lowest score !!! You can do the same with a dancing game. If you don't have any games for it , you can all vote for each other , but then it is better if you just have fun without a punishment!! :D

Talk, Talk , Talk:

Girls LOVE talking , find a good subject and BAAAM!

June Update

Hello sweeties , I want to do every month a update on my things about the month  before. So this is my first one in the series , so I hope you'll like it !

Question 1: Funniest thing that happend to you ?

Well , I had exams in June and I can tell you , there's nothing funny about that. So for this one time I'll cheat a little bit and pick something that happend in May. In May we went on a trip with school and I swear, together with my friends we had a really funny and great time !

Question 2: What books did you read ?

Well , to be honest I haven't read books in months :o , it's not that i don't like reading , but I don't have that much time for it :s. Sorry ! But one book that I really want to read is 'The fault in our stars' , but I haven't found it yet in Belgium....

Question 3: Favorite movie/show you watched ?

I actually can answer both of them ! The favorite movie I watched last month was 'The Hangover Part 2' I had not seen it before and I really wanted to watch it so I could watch the 3rd one. And as always I laughed a lot :) !

 And the favorite tv-show I watched this month is 'Las Vegas'. It's a series about a few of the employees in a casino named 'Montecito'. It's really funny and I'm totally into it !

Question 4: Something that made you proud ?

The first thing that I'm thinking of when I hear that is definently that I finished my exams :)

Question 5: What games did you play ?

I haven't play any games in June but I fell in love with a game and I'm totally obsessed with it ! I don't even have a ps3 but I'm madly in love with 'The Last Of Us' ! And yes, it might be the background on my laptop and iPod......

Question 6: What foods have you tried and loved ?

This month I thought I would try something new , and as I knew I really loved chocolate with some coconut inside , I decided to try coconut milkshake. And omg , it's so good ! And yes... it's was at Mc Donald's... so I will probably make it myself and then I'll post the recipe :)

Question 7: What did you learn ?

I did learn a lot in school but that's all boring and unuseful. I learned that you should not be afraid of trying new things ;).

Question 8: What music did you listen to ?

As always I listen to my bands but I'll give a top 3 of songs of the past month :

1) I'm on my way by Charlie Brown

2) King for a day by Pierce The Veil ft. Kellin Quinn ( it's not my usual kind of music but I like it)

Question 9: Favorite new thing ?

This has to be my laptop !!! After a year of hard work at school my parents (FINALLY) decided to give me a laptop ;).
